To Rank 50,000 Gram Panchayats ,Based On Parameters Of Physical Infrastructure, Human Development And Economic Activities.
The Ranking Facilitates Identification Of Gaps In A Quest For Poverty Free Gram Panchayats And Drive Economic Activities.
DEEN DAYAL ANTOYODAYA YOJANA-NATIONAL RURAL LIVELIHOOD MISSION.
To Enable Rural Poor To Increase Household Income Through Sustainable Livelihood Enhancements And Improved Access To Financial Services. The Scheme Is Assisted By Funding From World Bank.
FEATURES:
Universal Social Mobilization-At Least Woman Member From Each Identified Rural Poor Household Is To Be Brought Under The Self Group (SHG) Network.
Participatory Identification Of Poor(PIP)-Target Group Is Identified Through The Participatory Identification Of Poor (PIP) Method And It Is Delinked From BPL Criteria Od Identification Of Poor.
Community Fund-The Scheme Provides Revolving Fund(Rf) And Community Investment Fund(Cif) As Resource In Perpetuity.
Financial Inclusion-It Promotes Financial Inclusion Among The Poor Through Financial Literacy And Access To Institutional Financing.
NATIONAL SOCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
To Provide Financial Support To Elderly, Widows Disabled Persons( Divyang Jan) And To Families In The Event Of Death Of Primary Bread Winner, Belonging To Below Poverty Line(BPL) Households.
It Comprises Of Five Sub-Schemes, Namely:
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme(IGNOAPS)
Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS)
Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)
National Family Benefit Scheme(NFBS)

100% Central Assistance Is Extended To The States/Uts.
MAHATMA GANDHI NATIONAL RURAL EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE ACT (MGNREGA)
Objective: To Enhance Livelihood Security In Rural Areas By Providing At Least 100 Days Of Guaranteed Demand Based Wage Employment In A Financial Year To Every Household Whose Adult Members Volunteer To Do Unskilled Manual Work.
Implementation-Mainly By Gram Panchayats There Is A Provision Of Social Audit At Least One- Third Beneficiaries Shall Be Women.
Unemployment Allowances: If Work Is Not Provided Within 15 Days Of Applying, Applicants Are Entitled To An Unemployment Allowance.
Funding: The Central Government Bears The 100 Percent Wage Cost Of Unskilled Manual Labour And 75 Percent Of The Material Cost.
Wages Are Linked To Consumer Price Index (Agriculture Labour).
SANSAD ADARSH GRAM YOJANA (SAGY)
Objective:To Carry Out Development Of Villages.
Implementation: Each Member Of Parliament Is Required To Draft A Village Development Plan For Developing Physical And Institutional Infrastructure And Thereby Improving The Standard Of Living In The Villages.Lok Sabha Mp Has To Choose A Gram Panchayat From His/ Her Constituency And The Rajya Sabha Mp Has To Choose It From The State He/ She Respresents.
