CAPF Examination and CAPF Coaching

CAPF refers to the Central Armed Police Forces. The Assistant Commandant Exam is conducted by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) to recruit suitable candidates for the Assistant Commandant posts in the Central Armed Police Forces such as the CISF, CRPF, SSB, BSF, and ITBP.

About NDA Exam

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds the NDA exams two times a year (usually in April and September). This exam is the gateway to get admission into the Indian armed forces. Post this, the Services Selection Board (SSB) calls students who have passed the written examination for a test of Intelligence and Personality Test. It is very tough to crack NDA exam until you are prepared well for the exam.

Eligibility

Nationality

The candidate has to be either:
i) a subject of Nepal.
ii) a subject of Bhutan.
iii) a citizen of India.
iv) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
v) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The candidates who come under either of the categories – I, ii, iv and v have to get a certificate of eligibility that is issued by the government of India.

Age limit, sex, and marital status

The male candidates who are not married and are not born not earlier or later than the specified date are eligible for this examination. Irrespective of the date of birth mentioned in the matriculation certificate, it is accepted by the commission. The candidates cannot get married until they finish their full training.

Educational qualification

  • The Army Wing of the National Defence Academy, the candidates have to be 10+2 or equivalent from a university or a state education board.
  • For the Air force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, the candidates have to be 10 +2 or equivalent with Mathematics and physics held by a university or a state education board. The Candidates who are pursuing their 10 + 2 or its equivalent can also apply.
